Young Blood: Homecoming 2012 now accepting submissions

Submissions are due Saturday, July 7.

Youngblood:  Homecoming 2012 is the fifth annual installment of the New World School of the Arts alumni show.  Whether you still live in Miami or have followed your artistic practice elsewhere, this call for submissions is an opportunity to examine your relationship to your hometown and the high school or college that was your introduction to a life as a working artist. We invite submissions of artwork in any media that relate to the broadly defined theme of home. Submissions for Young Blood: So Fresh now open

All New World School of the Arts Visual Art High School and College alumni are invited to submit their recent work for Young Blood’s upcoming exhibition “So Fresh” curated by Danae Tarragona 08′. Exhibit your work at the Flagler Arts Space and help support NWSA’s Visual Art Department!

Casa Lin Call for art from all NWSA faculty, alumni and college students to show during Art Basel

“Artist proposals wanted for “site specific” outdoor installation and/or performance for the CasaLin opening on Thursday, December 2, 2010, during Art Basel Miami Beach. All NWSA faculty, alumni and college students are invited to submit proposals.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONSMONDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2010 [Please include your contact information]

Submit your proposals to the NWSA Dean of Visual Arts, Maggy Cuesta. Proposals can be sent by email to mcuesta@mdc.edu. Exhibition will be juried by Fred Snitzer. Selected artist will be notified on Wednesday, November 10, 2010. For more information about the Casa Lin site in Wynwood, please visit http://www.casalin.org/. Check out previous artists and their installations on the site also!
