Submissions are open for Young Blood: HOMECOMING 2012 opening August 11, 2011 at the Artseen Gallery.
This call for submissions is an opportunity to examine your relationship to your hometown and the high school or college that was your introduction to a life as a working artist. We invite submissions of artwork in any media that relate to the broadly defined theme of home.
TO SUBMIT, please e-mail 1-3 images of your recent works to Youngbloodnwsa@gmail.com by Saturday, July 7. Please include special instructions or a proposal for your installation, video or performance if needed. Artwork can be of any medium. You will be notified of your acceptance through e-mail during the month of July.

If you are selected, the gallery must receive all work by Saturday, July 28. The ArtSeen Gallery is located at 2215 NW 2nd Avenue Miami, FL 33127. All participants are required to pay $25 for printing materials, and must sell their work in the exhibition. 60% of the sale will benefit the artist, 40% will be donated to NWSA’s Visual Art Department.
