We are having a closing reception on August 25th, 6-9pm at ArtSeen to celebrate another successful Young Blood NWSA Alumni show. If you missed the opening, here is your last chance to check it out!
Thank you so much for coming to our opening during the Second Saturday Wynwwod art walk. We had a very well attended reception and we also sold some work. Thank you for  showing your support! And a big thank you to everyone who helped make this exhibition possible!

Young Blood: Homecoming 2012 now accepting submissions

Submissions are due Saturday, July 7.

Youngblood:  Homecoming 2012 is the fifth annual installment of the New World School of the Arts alumni show.  Whether you still live in Miami or have followed your artistic practice elsewhere, this call for submissions is an opportunity to examine your relationship to your hometown and the high school or college that was your introduction to a life as a working artist. We invite submissions of artwork in any media that relate to the broadly defined theme of home. In celebration of NWSA’s 25th anniversary, twenty-one artists – all graduates of New World School of the Arts – will showcase their work in “Young Blood: So Fresh.” The 4th annual exhibition opens to the public during Wynwood’s Art Walk on Second Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 7-10 PM, and will be on view until September 3, 2011 at the new Flagler Arts Space, which was founded by a group of NWSA alumni in Miami. A portion of the sales will benefit the NWSA high school and college visual arts department, which helped shape and develop the artistic talents of this group. To visit the exhibition after the opening, please make an appointment by e-mailing The Flagler Arts Space at Flaglerartsspace@gmail.com. Flagler Arts Space is located at 172 W Flagler St., Miami, FL 33130 across from the Miami Art Museum.
